The Quincy Police Department is filling the spring 2010 class of the Citizen Police Academy.
The 10-week course on Thursday evenings from 6 to 9 starts Feb. 18 and goes until April 22. There is a graduation banquet held at the completion of the academy.
Citizens will get to know their police department and participate in classroom instruction as well as hands-on practicals. This course is free of charge and will provide citizens with a basic knowledge of all aspects of the police profession.

Class 27 of the Frisco Citizen’s Police Academy will begin Feb. 11.  The program is currently accepting applications and urges interested people to apply as soon as possible, as they receive more applications than there are available seats each year.
The Frisco Citizen’s Police Academy (CPA) educates citizens who live or work in Frisco about the police department and its divisions and practices.
