Florida- The Temple Terrace Police Department will sponsor its Citizens Police Academy from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 7 at the city’s public works building, 11210 N. 53rd St.

The free program provides a behind-the-scenes look at the department. It will include information about traffic enforcement, narcotics identification, the canine unit and crime scene processing.

The program is open to Temple Terrace residents ages 18 and older. Graduates receive a diploma, class photo, T-shirt and hat.
